Allianz Aktive Mobilität

  • Project Duration: 03.2021 – 09.2023

  • Project Lead: Martin Loidl (Z_GIS)

  • Role Z_GIS: Wissenschaftlicher Partner

  • Staff: Martin Loidl, Petra Stutz

Initial Situation

Trips to work, including school escorts, have a large share of overall traffic. By switching these trips to sustainable modes, substantial ecological, health- and traffic-related effects can be expected. Building upon previous research results, we are pursuing a systematic approach toward commuting mobility. Moreover, digital tools need to be developed, which allow users to exploit synergies between mobility management and health promotion in the context of companies and institutions.

Project Goals

  • Requirements and technological implementation paths for web-based tools, which integrate mobility and health management.

  • Evaluation of implemented measures in companies.

Expected Results

  • Planning and consulting tool for promoting active mobility.

  • Quantification of effects, triggered by corporate intervention.

  • Identification of opportunities and barriers for active commuting mobility.

Contribution Z_GIS

  • Spatial assessment models for infrastructure quality and suitability as well as accessibility.

  • Modelling interdependencies between commuting mobility and health effects.
