EMP2EMP

Employer-2-Employee

  • Project Duration: 10.2021 – 09.2023

  • Project Lead: Thomas Blaschke (Z_GIS)

  • Role Z_GIS: Project Partner

  • Staff: Robin Wendel, Martin Loidl

Initial Situation

Business locations (from individual companies to industrial and technology parks) in rural and sub-urban areas are often dependent on the car as the main transport mode for commuting mobility. In many cases, the availability of adequate public transport connections is insufficient. In addition, we are faced with different working time models and individually different requirements, preferences and behaviour patterns with regard to mobility. Against this backdrop, reducing the number of trips made by car represents a particular challenge.

Project Goals

  • Integrated mobility mix and optimized mobility offers for individual locations.

  • Consideration of specific, especially gender-sensitive mobility needs of employees.

  • Translation of mobility needs into digital tools for planning and optimizing mobility solutions and for operating mobility services.

Expected Results

  • Enhancing existing digital tools by Triply and Carployee through an open innovation process.

  • Reduction of car trips as a contribution in order to cut down transport- related emissions.

Contribution Z_GIS

  • Development of optimization algorithms for the planning of site- and user-specific mobility solutions

  • Calculation and visualization of mobility scenarios
