During a 2-days retreat at Mattsee lake, our team had fruitful discussions on current projects and future research topics mixed with walks, quick swims and chit-chats. By exchanging methodological aspects of each ongoing project we could identify synergies and the areas of interest for future research contributions. Our visions concentrated around the topics of sustainable mobility, network analysis, assessment models, simulations and visualisations. We regarded it important to carry out studies on mobility justice and the inclusion of public transportation into active mobility solutions, as well as to monitor the pulse of travellers and to further improve analysis methods of mobility data.

On the second day we have discussed about our internal and external communication, and defined the internal digital infrastructure of working environment. The highlight of the retreat was the game “6 nimmt” where one of us playing no strategy at all for the first time got the best results.
