Everyday life in Austria has been fundamentally changed over the past weeks due to COVID-19. We took this situation as an opportunity to showcase how our observatory can be used for investigating bicycle mobility during the lock-down. For this, we made use of the data that we had collected in our research project and compared them with current measurements. An overview of the data can be gained through this dashboard: https://gimobility.sbg.ac.at/apps/dashboard-covid19/dashboard.php.

The dashboard is an example for how open data and an integration of various data sources into an observatory can be used in exceptional situations. Because of continuous data acquisition and a structured data management, we were able to provide quick insights into what is currently going on.
